Gladbrook Commercial Club Gladbrook Commercial Club will meet Thursday, May 7, 6:30 a.m. at Gifts of Grace. Two speakers will be featured. Please RSVP to Carolyn at Gifts of Grace.

“Sqeezebox Ministries” This Sunday, April 19th, 10:30 a.m. at Peace Church Keith & Joann Lambertsen will be filling the pulpit with their “Squeezebox Ministries”. Keith, a Lay Minister, will bring a musical message to the congregation as he plays his many accordions. Please join us!

Journey Bound Jouney Bound Quartet will persent a concert of Southern Gospel Music, Sunday, April 19, 6:30 p.m. at the Gladbrok United Methodist Church. There will be a free will offering with refreshments following.

Garwin Siren Testing The Garwin Fire Department will test emergency sirens every 3rd Monday through the summer months.

Gladbrook Jr. Auxiliary The Gladbrook Jr. Auxiliary will host the 3rd District Jr. Conference on Sun., April 26th. Gladbrook Jr. Chelsea Reinhard is the president. Juniors you need to be at the Gladbrook Memorial Building around 11:00 a.m. You will be served dinner. You will each have a job to do. Bring pop tabs, 50 cents for registration, and change for the Pennies March. There will be door prizes.

Open Gym There will be an Open Gym in Gladbrook in the Middle School Gym on Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Come enjoy the fun.

Crayon Corner Meeting Annual Crayon Corner Learning Center Meeting will be held Monday, May 18th at 5:30 pm in the G-R Elementary Library.

Library Coffee Time Stop in and join us every Friday afternoon at the Gladbrook Public Library at 2 p. m. for coffee and conversation. We might even discuss a book or two. Bring a friend and hopefully brighten your day and ours!! Pat & Karen

Raymond Family Benefit On Thursday, April 16 a benefit for the Sean and Deanne Raymond family will be held at GMG Elementary. Mrs. Raymond is an employee of GMG, and the couple have 3 children in the school. The Raymonds lost most of their belongings in a house fire in January. The benefit will run from 5:00-8:00. We will begin with a “free will donation” walking taco meal from 5:00 to 6:30 followed by a children’s talent show and silent auction. The silent auction will consist of theme baskets. If you have any questions or would like to donate, please call 641-474-2251.

Jerry’s Barbershop Jerry’s Barbershop in Garwin will be CLOSED April 10th through April 18th.

Crayon Corner Extended Leaning/Daycare The Crayon Corner Extended Learning and Daycare will be open this summer. Hours will be 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday for ages 3 and up. For costs and to sign up parents may call (641) 473-2875, ext. 227
